水引の繊細な造形と澄んだ音色が、空間に涼やかな景色をつくる「水引風鈴」。
100年を超える歴史を持つ加賀水引の老舗・津田水引折型が、一つひとつ手仕事で仕立てています。
水引の基本結びである「あわじ結び」を幾重にも組み合わせ、直径約8cmの立体的なかたちに仕上げました。あわじ結びは、両端を引くほど強く結ばれることから、人と人とのご縁や末永いつながりを象徴する、縁起のよい結びです。
内側には、南部鉄器製の鉄鈴を使用。風に揺れるたび、澄んだ美しい音色がやさしく響きます。季節の音を感じる言葉を記した短冊も付属しています。
和の趣を感じさせながら、現代的な空間にも自然になじむ佇まい。夏の室礼としてはもちろん、季節を問わず楽しめるインテリアとして、また大切な方への贈り物にもおすすめです。
一つひとつ手作りのため、水引の色合いや形にはわずかな個体差があります。手仕事ならではの風合いとしてお楽しみください。

The delicate sculptural beauty of mizuhiki and its clear, resonant sound come together in this “Mizuhiki Wind Chime,” bringing a refreshing sense of tranquility to any space.
Each wind chime is handcrafted by Tsuda Mizuhiki Orikata, a long-established Kaga Mizuhiki atelier with a history spanning more than 100 years.
Multiple “awaji-musubi,” one of the fundamental knots of mizuhiki, are carefully combined to create a three-dimensional form measuring approximately 8 cm in diameter. Because the knot becomes tighter as its two ends are pulled, it is regarded as an auspicious symbol of lasting connections and bonds between people.
At its center is a bell made of Nambu ironware. Whenever it moves in the breeze, it produces a beautifully clear and gentle tone. A tanzaku paper strip featuring words that evoke the sounds of the seasons is also included.
While rooted in the quiet elegance of Japanese aesthetics, its refined design blends naturally with contemporary interiors. It can be enjoyed as a seasonal summer decoration or as a year-round interior accent, and also makes a thoughtful gift for someone special.
